The Bobcats picked up a thrilling 66-65 win over the Point Park Pioneers on Saturday in each team's opening game of the Bobcat Bash. The Pioneers had a chance to win the game in the final seconds but stellar defense by Buffalo and specifically Dakaylah Winfield denied them a final shot before the buzzer.

BUFFALO, NY - It didn't take long for records to be set as the Bryant & Stratton Buffalo Bobcats opened their first game of the season on a 28-0 run en route to a dominating 100-23 win on Saturday night as part of the Bobcat Kickoff Classic. It was the first shutout quarter in program history and the 28-0 run marked the longest scoreless run in program history as well. Senior Kat Kanhoye scored a game-high 22 and fellow senior Charm Stone dominated with 15 points and 18 rebounds.
