BUFFALO, NY - The University of Maine at Fort Kent used a 28-point fourth quarter to pull way late and down the Bryant & Stratton Buffalo Bobcats 74-69 on Saturday afternoon.
Freshman Chelsea Johnson scored 22 points and grabbed 15 rebounds to lead Buffalo, while senior Treanna Blenman scored 19. Junior Madison Carey recorded 14 rebounds and added 9 points.
Buffalo held a 57-52 advantage on the boards, but allowed UMFK to shoot nearly 59 percent in the final quarter while only shooting 36.8 themselves.
The loss dropped Buffalo's record to 2-2 on the season.
