Balanced Effort Leads to Weekend Sweep
BUFFALO, NY – Four different players scored in double figures as Bryant & Stratton Buffalo dominated the boards and the game for a second day in a row, downing Penn State Beaver 74-53 on Sunday evening in day two of the Bobcat Kickoff Classic.

BUFFALO, NY – Four different players scored in double figures as Bryant & Stratton Buffalo dominated the boards and the game for a second day in a row, downing Penn State Beaver 74-53 on Sunday evening in day two of the Bobcat Kickoff Classic.
Sophomore Kat Kanhoye scored a team-high 16 and junior Nia Caver scored 13 and added a career-high 16 rebounds as Buffalo once again overpowered its opponent. Beaver had no answer for Caver who had six offensive rebounds. She also had six assists, four steals, and a block.
Senior Alissa Johnson and junior Charm Stone ach added 11 with Stone also securing 11 rebounds. The Bobcats (2-0) held Beaver to 29.8 percent shooting and 20 percent from three. They dominated the boards as well, outrebounding the visitors 61-38. Buffalo led 23-10 after the first quarter and 43-22 at halftime as they coasted to an easy victory.
