- Buffalo earned it's second-straight season opening victory after a 92-83 win over the Point Park Pioneers on Sunday.
- The Bobcats had five players in double-figures and were led by sophomore Mary Caldwell who put home 26 off the bench with four triples.
- Junior Armoni Jordan scored 21 and secured 13 rebounds in her first game as a Bobcat.
- Junior Charm Stone was one rebound away from a double-double as she finished with 15 points and nine rebounds.
- The senior stat-stuffer Janae Brannon finished with a game-high 14 assists to go along with eight rebounds, four points and three steals.
- Last year's Buffalo Female Athlete of the Year Alissa Johnson scored 12 points off the bench.
- The Bobcats edged the Pioneers on the glass 53-46 and 27-16 on the offensive glass.
- Buffalo forced 20 turnovers which led directly to 26 points.

- Head Coach Brittnee Perry is back for her second season as leader of the Bobcats after a 22-7 record in the program's first season.
- The Bobcats earned the fifth seed in the USCAA National Tournament and defeated Clinton College in the quarterfinals before the tournament was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
- The Bobcats return three starters (one injured) from last season including reining Female Athlete of the Year Alissa Johnson and USCAA First Team All American Janae Brannon. Another First Team All American Shamecca Minor is currently out with an injury.
- Caldwell leads the Bobcats in scoring through one game (26.0). Jordan is second (21.0). Minor led the Bobcats last year with 18.8 points per game.
- Brannon is coming off a season where she nearly averaged a triple-double, finishing the year averaging 10.7 points, 9.7 rebounds and 9.2 assists per game.
- Junior Charm Stone is coming off a near double-double in her season debut. She finished with 15 points and 9 rebounds.
- Freshman Olivia McGlashin made a solid impact in her first college minutes against Point Park, finishing with five rebounds, two steals and a block in 14 minutes.
- Junior Tamia Tart finished in double-figures in her first game as a Bobcats as well, scoring 12 points and going 2-4 from three.
ABOUT ROCHESTER
- The Bobcats finished last season 22-5 and earned the third seed in the USCAA National Tournament.
- They ended the season on a 14-game winning streak before the Tournament was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
- Dorian Sharp led the team in scoring last year, averaging 20.3 points per game.
