Bryant & Stratton Buffalo Track & Field Competes at Utica Winter Open
UTICA, N.Y. – The Bryant & Stratton College Buffalo men's and women's track & field teams competed at the Utica Winter Open on Friday, January 16, 2026, hosted at the Utica–Hutton Sports and Recreation Dome in Utica, New York, posting solid performances across sprint and middle-distance events.
In the men's 60-meter dash preliminaries, freshman Sincere Brooks-Davis finished 32nd overall with a time of 7.62 seconds, showing strong acceleration against a competitive field.
Freshman Dameer Harris competed in the men's 200 meters, placing 38th overall after clocking a time of 25.56 seconds. The Bobcats also turned in solid performances in the men's 500 meters, led by freshman Tayzeon Hopson, who finished 13th overall with a time of 1:13.92. Fellow freshman Adriel Rosado added another effort for Bryant & Stratton Buffalo, placing 22nd overall in the event with a time of 1:20.00.
On the women's side, freshman Kenyaa Joseph represented the Bobcats in the women's 60-meter dash preliminaries, finishing 22nd overall with a time of 8.64 seconds, marking a personal-best performance.
Head coach Ted Oster praised his team's progress following the meet. "This group continues to show growth every time they step on the track," Oster said. "We're a young team, but their work ethic and commitment to improvement are evident, and performances like these are a reflection of the hard work they're putting in every day."
With multiple freshmen competing on both the men's and women's sides, Bryant & Stratton Buffalo continues to build depth and momentum as the indoor track & field season progresses.
