Sylvester's 27 Points Leads Bobcats to 3-0 Start
BUFFALO, NY - The Bryant & Stratton College Buffalo men's basketball team showcased efficiency, depth, and dominance on the glass as the Bobcats defeated Penn State Greater Allegheny 81–60 on Friday evening at the Burt Flickinger Center.
Buffalo shot an impressive 50% from the field and 50% from three (9-for-18), while overwhelming PSUGA on the boards by a 42–28 margin. The balanced offensive attack and disciplined defensive execution allowed the Bobcats to control the contest from start to finish.
Senior guard Nahshon Sylvester delivered a standout performance, pouring in 27 points on 9-of-13 shooting while adding 9 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals. His four made three-pointers helped Buffalo stretch the floor and dictated the pace early.
Junior forward Terrian Wester had a breakout showing, finishing with 13 points and 10 rebounds for his first double-double of the season. Wester's activity around the rim provided second-chance opportunities and interior stability on defense.
Off the bench, junior guard Galen Waters ignited Buffalo's scoring with 15 points, knocking down four three-pointers and providing valuable spacing. Arthur Dukes contributed 7 points in 11 strong minutes, while Keiyan Clarke added a spark with 5 points on 2-of-2 shooting.
Veteran forward Massai Graham made his presence felt with 6 rebounds, 2 blocks, and 2 steals, giving Buffalo a strong defensive anchor throughout the night. Phil Jones Jr., TaRon Benton, Justin Reed-Fouche, and JaVan Hill rounded out the rotation with steady two-way contributions.
Defensively, the Bobcats forced Penn State Greater Allegheny into 5-of-26 shooting from three and only 39% overall, while limiting second-chance points and forcing 17 turnovers.
PSUGA was led by Jordan Poole (18 points) and Elijah Hannon (16 points), but the visitors could not match Buffalo's interior strength and perimeter efficiency.
The win continues Bryant & Stratton Buffalo's strong early-season momentum as they prepare for their next test at home.
