Benton Caps Huge Weekend with 31 Point Performance in Win Over Fisher
BUFFALO, NY — The Bryant & Stratton College Buffalo men's basketball team capped off a strong opening weekend with another commanding performance, defeating Fisher College (MA) 93–80 on Sunday evening at the Burt Flickinger Athletic Center.
The Bobcats (2–0) showcased a balanced and explosive offensive effort, with five players scoring in double figures and the team shooting 48.4 percent from the field and 71.4 percent from three-point range.
Junior guard TaRon Benton followed up his stellar season opener with another dominant outing, posting a game-high 31 points on 8-of-12 shooting, including a perfect 5-for-5 from beyond the arc, while adding 7 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals. Benton's all-around play anchored a Bobcats attack that built a steady lead and never looked back.
Junior forward Terrian Wester controlled the boards with a monster 16-rebound performance to go along with 7 points and 3 steals, while fellow veterans Nahshon Sylvester and Massai Graham provided key scoring support. Sylvester contributed 16 points and 5 rebounds, and Graham was a force inside with 14 points, 11 rebounds, and 3 blocks.
Off the bench, Justin Reed-Fouche gave the Bobcats a major spark, hitting 4-of-5 shots, including 3-of-3 from deep, for 11 points. Zachariah Mianab added 9 points and 3 assists, and Phil Jones Jr. chipped in 2 points and 2 assists.
Bryant & Stratton Buffalo edged Fisher in the rebounding department 51–33 and attacked the rim relentlessly, going 21-of-29 from the free-throw line..
The victory closes out a perfect weekend for the Bobcats, as both the men's and women's teams went unbeaten in the 2025 Bryant & Stratton Kickoff Classic — setting a strong tone for the season ahead.
