SALEM, WV - Bryant & Stratton Buffalo saw its magnificent 11-game win streak snapped on Friday in a 93-72 road loss at NCAA-II foe Salem University.
RaeQuan Scott led Buffalo with 21 points and Davon Ware added 15 but Buffalo could not come away with the win as Salem pulled away late. The Tigers had a 29-to-9 advantage in free throw attempts and outrebounded the Bobcats by 10 (43-33).
Kalon Kimble scored 14 and DJ Little chipped in 11 off the bench. Buffalo ends its regular season winners of 11 of its last 12 games. The 20-7 overall record marks the best in program history and the 20 wins marks the most. They will be back in action next weekend as they are the top seed in the Vaden Cup after posting an unblemished conference record.
