BUFFALO, NY - The Bryant & Stratton College Buffalo Bobcats gave back to their community on Saturday, as the men's basketball program, led by Head Coach and Athletic Director Damone Brown, participated in the 2nd Annual Bailey Avenue Clean Up.
"Throughout the last three years of us getting our athletics programs up and running, the community and city of Buffalo has supported us from day one," Brown said. "We had a chance today to give a little back and help our community. I'm thankful for our players and coaches who were able to come help, volunteer and improve our city."
Members of the men's basketball program met at Captain of the Sea on Bailey Avenue and spent hours cleaning up garbage, sweeping sidewalks and parking lots, and throwing away trash. Davon Ware, a President of the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Student-Athlete Advisory Council, along with junior Male Athlete of the Year Sam Dorissaint led the effort.
The Bobcats finished the 2020-21 season with a 16-5 record and captured the Vaden Cup (Conference Championship) to cap the campaign.
