Bryant & Stratton College Buffalo has named D'Juan Todd-Melvin as the inaugural Head Coach of the Bobcats Women's Flag Football program, bringing nearly two decades of coaching experience and a proven track record of developing student-athletes both on and off the field.
Widely respected throughout the athletic community, Todd-Melvin has spent more than 18 years coaching and mentoring athletes at the youth, high school, collegiate, and developmental levels. His experience spans multiple sports—including football, basketball, baseball, soccer, and track & field—allowing him to develop a well-rounded coaching philosophy centered on leadership, discipline, accountability, and personal growth.
Known simply as "Coach Juanny," Todd-Melvin has built a reputation as a players' coach who values authentic relationships and a team-first culture. His coaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that lasting success is built through trust, selflessness, and collective effort.
As the leader of Bryant & Stratton Buffalo's inaugural women's flag football program, Todd-Melvin is focused on building a championship culture from the ground up while providing student-athletes with an opportunity to excel academically, athletically, and personally. His vision emphasizes integrity, toughness, teamwork, and servant leadership, laying the foundation for a program that will compete with excellence while positively impacting the campus community.
Todd-Melvin's passion for coaching extends well beyond wins and losses. Throughout his career, he has been committed to helping young people reach their full potential by instilling confidence, accountability, and life skills that extend far beyond the playing field. A former high school and collegiate football player, Todd-Melvin combines firsthand playing experience with years of coaching knowledge to create an environment where student-athletes are challenged, supported, and empowered to succeed.
